The 1/4 Mexican chicken was delicious! And what a deal for the amount of food and meat!

Only ordered Puerto Rican Rice and it was delicious! Only negative was a young man was cutting raw chicken when I walked up and didnt change his gloves, he wiped them with a towel and proceded to try and serve me with raw meat on his gloves. I literally asked him to change his gloves before he served my food. You will make someone extremely sick touching raw food and not washing your hands or changing gloves. Please retrain the staff immediately about food safety!

Wow, Criollo is inside the 3rd St Market hall, northeast corner, near the BBQ restaurant. I wish I noticed this place earlier. The carnitas (pork) platter was amazing. Tender, great flavor, and a generous portion. Served with rice and beans. Really tasty option inside the Market Hall. I will be trying other menu options. The chicken looks awesome also.

First visit. Mexican/Peruvian/Puerto Rican cuisine. Ordered black beans, 1/2 chicken and Puerto Rican rice (rice with pigeon peas) beans were good, chicken was seasoned through and was juicy, if you like lots of flavor and seasoning this is for you. Rice was ok, good flavor but I later realized it has ham (this is how it’s authentically made though). Ordered sweet plantains as well those were delicious. Fast friendly service. Decent prices especially because it’s all seasoned well.

Best meal I've had in the area by a mile. The sample platter was where its at. Meat can lean a little dry but when eaten with the accompanying sauce, its a great bite. While the Peruvian chicken fried rice was flavorful and authentic, the best things were the Chicken Flauta and Chicken Enchilada. The Flauta had thr best tortilla...hearty, crisp and perfect. The Enchilada had the perfect sauce wrapped in a tortilla that soaked it all in while not feeling mushy. Seriously. Get some.

Got the 1/2 Peruvian chicken with Puerto Rican rice and beans. It's good rotisserie chicken and well seasoned but doesn't scream Peruvian over any other rotisserie chicken. The green sauce it came with really improved it a lot. The rice was really savory as a side. The black beans on the other hand didn't have the unique flavor that central and south American beans typically do which was a bit disappointing. Came out really fast which is definitely a plus though!

Greats chicken. Ordered the Mexican style. Well seasoned on the outside with crispy skin. and really tasted the citrus flavor within the meat. Even the white meat is soft and moist. Peruvian rice is flavorful. Really authentic food.
